Parenting is hard and sometimes it seems everyone else has it figured out but you. Sometimes being a mom can feel lonely. There is so much parenting adivce out there from books, family, and friends. How can you figure out how to integrate what you read in a book into your daily activities. Who can you talk to about how much it hurts when you and your child say hurtful things to one another? How do you divise a discipline strategy that will teach your child the values and attributes you want them to have? Join this special parenting group targeting moms who want to grow and enhance their parenting skills. Our format is a combination of processing parenting concerns and successes and didactic instruction focused on relationship building and discipline strategies.
- 10 weeks February 8- April 12 (week off at Spring Break)
- Mondays from 10-11:30
- North Dallas - Frankford and the Tollway
- Gain and practice new skills at home for 30 minutes once a week during special playtimes with your child
- Receive support from two trained play therapists and fellow moms
- Snacks, workbooks, and some supplies will be provided
