Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Battery

More and more parents are making the decision to delay their child's entry to Kindergarten. This decision is typically based on the child's birth date and sometimes a recommendation from a preschool teacher. New Leaf Clinic recognizes that your child is a unique individual. Counseling

Individual

One-on-one format with children, adolescents, or adults.

Group

Counselor facilitates a group of approximately 2 to 8 individuals. Both topical groups and process groups are available, depending on demand and availability.

Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT)

Available in both group and individual formats. In a group format, meets weekly for 10 weeks and provides parents both didactic training combined with a supportive process group environment. Specific skills include reflecting feelings, setting limits, and understanding basic developmental tendencies. Individual meetings are similar, but provide more one-on-one training. Individual sessions provide the same didactic training in a one on one experience with one of our counselors. Parents will receive individual attention to address specific concerns they are facing with their children.

Supervision

For counseling professionals seeking licensure and play therapy credentials, New Leaf Clinic provides supervision by Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisors and Registered Play Therapists.
